URGENT: Tell legislators to support expungement!
Please email your legislators ASAP and tell them to vote YES on HB 4097!
With the legislative session ending next week, Oregon House Bill 4097 is stalled in the Ways & Means committee. We must pass this bill to streamline the expungement process and stop old fines and fees from holding people back from clearing their records.
We’re so close. But if the committee doesn’t vote to fund HB 4097 in the next few days, the bill won’t pass.
Please reach out to the state legislators who will decide whether the bill moves and share this simple message:

Dear legislators,
Please pass HB 4097! Millions of Oregonians are waiting on expungement to get back to work, find housing, and create intergenerational, positive change.
Justice delayed is justice denied.
